Frances Hesselbein welcomed The Honorable Arne Duncan, Secretary of Education, U. S. Department of Education, to the eighth annual Investment in America Forum, held this week, November 9 & 10 at The Pentagon. IAF brings together ten Army Generals, ten corporate CEOs and ten Social Sector CEOs for two days to focus on one issue facing America. First held in 2002, the objective of IAF is to promote cross-sector dialogue among public, social, and private leaders. In the past three years, the focus of discussion at IAF has been workforce readiness and education.
